ever come up with a cool idea and turn around and find out someone else is copying you? this happens to me ALL the TIME!!!
I have people tell me all the time that they have seen my art somewhere, and i say, where? it turns out to be someone imitating my style. i suppose i should accept that as i have conducted many workshops to teach my style! i mean i'm kinda asking for it.
but now i found out that someone who has been on our show has started one (on public access TV) and is even giving it my tag line: "for artists by artists". ok, ok, i guess there is a difference, my tag line is "by artists for artists". why can't people invent their own thing?
well good luck new show.....honestly.
those who imitate my subject matter and painting style - huh! i don't know what to say, makes me sit up. i guess sit up proud as it is a compliment.

Opportunities to come on our show
I am looking for emerging artists to come on the show for our "Gallery Walk" section. "Gallery Walk" is our not-for-profit" portion of the show. Artists are encouraged to submit jpegs to me or give me a website address at lisabebiart@aol.com. the cost for emerging artists is $150 for 15 seconds, up to 6 paintings or pieces shown. This cost is for production only, not airtime.
There is a similar opportunity for an emerging gallery (emerging gallery is a gallery in business for less than 2 years). We allow up to 4 emerging galleries per show. The gallery gets to highlight up to four artists for a flat $400 fee. The length of airtime varies - on how much there is to say. or who is interviewed.
