cakes created from paintings in the LA's Museum of contemporary art's permanent collection were also for sale at last night's bake sale by the friends of MOCA.

just like when i had a girl scouts troop......whenever we needed funds for a camp out or sock hop, we always had a bake sale and it always worked.  of course i did notice that the people buying most of the goods were the girl in the troop themselves.  we were known as the round troop. 

but, i think MOCA needs something like 30 million dollars to be bailed out of their current financial problem for this year.   that's a lot of cakes and cookies.  more than my troop could handle.

but yummy!
