I just want to thank especially Simon Loli, our guest host, who bravely followed us the day we filmed his segment - i asked him out of the blue to come and be our special guest, co-host. he said, sure and off we went filming the rest of the show - no script, no idea of what we were to ask him to do. i thought he did well. he was very fresh and good natured and really did seem to want to know what the other artists on our show had to say.
as for our beautiful host, Brooke Binkowski, well some of you already know, she is my oldest daughter, Even so, she has had over 10 years experience in front of the microphone as she worked full time as a radio news reporter for CNN, KPR-SC, KNX to name a few. she was also the anchor for CNN international for 2 years in atlanta.
I enjoyed meeting kevin freitas,writer and critic of Art As Authority blog. he is a real san diego art assest - helping the arts community what is going on.
david ady - loved his interesting push pin "BEBE" skins from magazines. really, if you get a chance to see his work up close, it is well worth it. he is showing now at the Jesus de Luis Gallery in little italy.
our workshop guest artist was jake alee, ceramist. we caught up with him at south western college.
artist Boban, was the wonderful sculptor who worked in spoons and sterlingware. he actually sold a piece while we were there filming for a mere $250,000. the piece was bought to be display in front of a corporation building.
